This is the most standard seal for women. It is dyed jet black, so there is no unevenness in the seal material, and it is a glossy seal material.
The 13.5mm diameter official seal is for women. You can choose to have your full name, last name only, or first name only. If you are making an official seal while you are single, a "first name only" seal is recommended, as it can be used even if your last name on your family register changes, eliminating the need to have a new official seal made.

Regarding the character arrangement when using only the last name or only the first name
When the number of strokes in each character is quite different, such as in "Takiguchi" and "Futaba," writing them vertically looks more natural.
For names with many horizontal strokes (horizontal lines), such as "Yokosuka" or "Katsumi," writing vertically can make the lines look crowded together and give a slightly cramped impression. However, writing horizontally gives more space, making it easier to distinguish which character is which, and many people prefer it because it makes them feel more attached to the name.
